R Package For Generating (Publication) Websites Based on Hugo Theme Academic

Using the following tools:

  • Hugo: static website generator

  • Academic: a open-source theme for Hugo adapted to the needs of researchers and/or small research labs. For example used by Stanford`s Causality in Cognition Lab (see: https://cicl.stanford.edu)

  • R package blogdown: for generating the website from R(Studio) and

  • GitHub/GitLab Pages: for automatically deploying the website for free
